Today is Tuesday

I think there's something therapeutic about documenting one's thoughts regardless of how inane they may be. I'm going to try and get back into reflecting regularly. Just recording a thought per day, maybe. I don't know that I'll bother to publish it though.

I've found that I'm becoming increasingly inarticulate as the years go by. Perhaps it's because I've become accustomed to abbreviating everything in my day-to-day, u knw what I mean lol?
Really, even at work. Grammar? That's a waste of time. "Verbal and written education re: MLD. 15 x LLLT 1 min each. Good effect."
...Yet, I can't manage my time at work and stayed back til 6:30pm yesterday.

Or perhaps it's because I've stopped reading consistently. I'm getting back into it now. It's worrying how hard I find it to switch off my devices for an hour or two in the evening to play the piano or read a book or just reflect. I'm so addicted to screen time and social media. Unhealthily so, I reckon.

I'd like to spend more time working on feeding my soul both creativity-wise and contributing positively to the lives of other people. Doesn't even necessarily have to be people I know, methinks, because I've been catching myself being self-absorbed lately. I feel like if I don't nip it in the bud, it'll be a slippery slope towards becoming an awful person and well.. awful people are awful.

Weird thought but I often wonder what kind of world my children will grow up in. If I teach them to be kind, will it that be a strong enough influence if everyone around them is after status and gains (bro)? Also, will they know the difference between "your" and "you're"? I swear, if they don't, I'll have failed as a parent. As a human being.

Today my friend bought me breakfast at 6:30am. I had already eaten breakfast but didn't want to hurt her feelings so I forced it down then wanted to spew. Yeah.

Lunch is over now.
