*Rihanna voice* work work work work abawkabawkah work work work work!"
If I were to rate my grumpiness on a scale of 0-10 with 0 being ... heck, I am so grumpy that I can't even think of a pleasant bubbly fictional character. Whatever. I'd score 10.
[removed approximately 200 words worth of ranting about an unsavoury patient seen yesterday]
I'm annoyed with the situation. I took on the patient with view to challenge myself and I suppose I was a bit ambitious in thinking that I would be able to escape unscathed, with a good clinical outcome despite warning from the previous therapist. I feel like I've failed but upon critical reflection (thanks, colleague), there's not much that could have been done to improve the situation other than giving said patient a lobotomy. I feel better but that could also be because I ate a whole packet of grain waves.
On a lighter note, I've been sending my senior photos of foods that are comparable to skin conditions I see on a day-to-day basis.
- melonpan = cobblestone papillomatosis
- naan bread = papillomatosis with haemosiderin staining
- flaky pie = devitalised skin during acute reduction phase-
almond croissant with icing sugar = treatment phase leg with zinc bandage residue
- Maccas apple pie = lymph blisters
- raisin toast = eschar spots from burst blood blisters
- Portuguese tart = chronic ulcer with biofilm
... I know! Dory!!
